The Hunt is well underway, and has been for quite some time, and I have decided to start this blog. It isn't here to help other other gunters, no I'm not an idiot. It is merely here to help me gather my thoughts and research. Also I, like many others, am starting to lose hope, after a year and what not and nothing changing on that scoreboard, it is a bit disheartening.
That's why I wanted to actually make it seem like I was putting my life to good use so I started this blog.
Who am I? Well my name is Art3mis. Would have been Artemis if that name wasn't already taken by some Cyndi Lauper wannabe over on the planet Taiga who I've been plotting her death for some time now. I know she lives on Taiga and the name Artemis is fitting, but that isn't the point here, the point is that I should have that name and not some altered version of the name.
Yes, I will admit that I do get annoyed with the amount of people calling me 'Art- Three- Miss'. Clearly that just sounds stupid, it's like 'let's just take three random words and put them together and use that as my Avatar name in OASIS, and honestly the only name that matters in life.' NO! That is not what I did, the name is spelled Art3mis but it is pronounced Artemis.
Now why is this important, well, Artemis is the Greek goddess of the hunt (hint hint), forests and hills, and the moon. In Rome she is known as Diana, and there is belief she is pre-Greek as well, but nothing more has been discovered on that since, well, the OASIS was created. She is the daughter of Zeus and Leto, and is quite good at archery. Apollo is also her twin brother who is the god of music, poetry, plague, medicine, sun, light and knowledge. Basically if these two siblings teamed up they could rule the world!.....possibly.....eh, who knows. I'm not teaming up with anyone so this Art3mis will never know.
I guess the point I'm trying to make with all this jibber jabber is: My name is Art3mis, and I will win this Hunt.
